Each video isolates a specific technique from a film, breaks down how it works in that context, and then tracks how it carries forward into other directors’ work.

It’s less about theory and more about learning how to study films in a way that’s actually useful. Not just watching something and liking it, but understanding the choices behind it and how to apply them to your own work.

At a time when older films are often overlooked, I wanted to focus on the language they created and how much of it still shapes modern filmmaking. This is my way of making that connection clear and practical.
